I know mountain goats can climb well, but I never knew ordinary goats could. This kid (that is, young goat) used its climbing skills to reach otherwise inaccessible leaves of live oak trees. Later we saw it playing on the cliff edge near the creek, performing an amazing highwire act, bounding around from rock to rock where I would not venture without a rope.
