I spotted this very shy Heron down at the creek. It flew off before I could get a better picture. Later, Lizzy saw it from the cabin, and several of us watched it fly off. It is a huge bird.

The bird is evidently a Great Blue Heron. I've seen one here in town, in Central Park; I got a much better picture of that one.
