I was walking quickly here, expecting I'd have plenty of time to work the creek with a tripod; in fact it rained so much that I never got that chance. I did notice this waterfall, which at a glance appeared to be the same one I got a very good picture of in 2004. In the 2004 picture, I was working with a tripod and could use a long enough exposure to blur the water. I just got a quick handheld shot this time around.

The amazing thing is the broken, dead branch. Look at it in this picture, and in the other. It is the same branch. Eleven months scarcely moved it an inch.
