My glasses were fogging up so much I could see better without them. I'm pretty blind, so that's unusual. Very frustrated, I suddenly realized I was in a place where I could hurl them onto the ground without hurting them. When they hit the snow (which, off the trail, was many feet deep) they made this fascinating hole, with just one end protruding from the snow.
