Very very steep, but short. Covered with moguls and with icy patches under the powder, it was a tough trip down. Next time we'll know to keep some serious speed when we exit: The slope below is called flapjack: So named because it is flat as a pancake. Enter it slow, and you've got a quarter mile of poling ahead.
