13 - CameraVery interesting control layout. The shutter speed dial is on the lens - probably because the shutter itself is inside the lens. This was common in leaf shutter cameras, though it's rarely done today in interchangeable-lens cameras, except for some large format designs. Shutter speed ranges down to 1/500. No number is printed in red or flagged with a lightning bolt, so I assume any speed can be used with a flash, as is frequently the case with leaf-shutter cameras. Next is the aperture ring - they're very proud of their f/1.9, it's printed highlighted in a circle. It ranges down to f/16, a common lower aperture limit. Total range is slightly more than 6 stops, which isn't bad. Nearest the camera is the focus distance gauge, in feet. Minimum focus appears to be 2.8 feet. The turn is very short - that would drive me nuts, especially at f/1.9 it just doesn't look like you're going to be able to get the necessary precision in that dial. The depth-of-field gauge is under that, and in red, the letters "FL. OP.". What could the "FLOP" possibly mean? FL is a common abbreviation for Focal Length. OP would generally mean optics perhaps? Could it mean "Floating Optics"? The term is rare today, but generally indicates a lens where the lens elements move independently as the lens is adjusted, rather than moving as a solid group.
