Hurricane Rita plowed into Texas and Louisiana, and caused no end of misery down on the coast. There were dire predictions for B-CS as well, but not much came of it. The storm evidently veered east before coming ashore, and we're barely on the edge of the wind. So far we haven't even gotten rain, though we would very much like some.
